Growing Learners LLC was created by a master teacher, parent, and dreamer. The idea grew from the desire to provide children with authentic hands-on exploratory learning, even virtually. The core value of our programming is for students to be equipped with the finest teaching resources and intrinsically motivated to learn. Growing Learners provides a safe, reliable, structured, and thoughtfully planned activities to grow children into well rounded and well versed individuals.

MARIA WONG
Maria has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and has over 15 years of teaching experience. Her experience ranges from teaching First Grade to teaching at the Center of Talent Development at Northwestern University. Maria is visionary. With learning being remote, her big visions are coming to life. She is using this virtual learning opportunity to connect students with high quality professionals and the finest resources. When she is not teaching, you will find her playing the piano, gardening, and cooking meals from scratch.

Roni is a moderator for Growing Learners. She has spent 5 years as a youth pastor working with children in grades K-12. Roni loves to learn. She thinks that providing a place for children to learn and ask questions is so important! During her free time, you will find her in nature or doing something creative. Roni comes from a family of artists and loves to spend her time drawing.

Mike is a moderator for Growing Learners. He spent 5 years working as a youth pastor for K-12 grade students. Mike loves to spend time writing music and DJing weddings and events. He recently got married on September 5th to Roni Wood, his best friend.

Connie is the graphic designer for Growing Learners. She loves working with small businesses to turn their ideas and dreams into a visual reality. Working with web and print design, she aims to create engaging, purposeful graphics for Growing Learners to help create an exciting learning experience for the students.

Keighty is passionate about learning more about the world around you and inspiring others to embrace an inquisitive mindset. After working on educational travel programs for National Geographic, Keighty took the experiential learning skills she developed while exploring the world and channeled them into to helping other education and science-focused businesses tell their stories. Currently based in Chicago, she comes to the Growing Learners team with a degree in foreign language & linguistics and recently obtained her MBA in marketing.

Children's Programming
As a child, Jane always enjoyed drawing and painting. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University of Chicago with a focus on Visual Communication and Graphic Design. She later earned her Masters in Library and Information Sciences Degree from the University of Central Missouri. She emphasizes the importance of having fun, individuality, and the creative process.
NOTE TO THE PARENTS:
In order to accomplish our goal of project based learning, parents will need to print and set out materials to compliment our interactive lessons. Our print outs are professionally designed and customized to coincide with the Common Core Standards.
The ultimate goal is to reignite the love for learning and set a solid foundation for your child to be intrinsically curious about the world around them. Your child's Early Childhood experiences sets a strong foundation in growing them to become lifelong learners.
