BIRD ADVENTURES
Take a moment to quiet yourselves and listen to the nature around you. What do you hear? Birds that sing! In this thematic unit, students will learn about the various species of birds, their habitats, behaviors, and survival. We will create homemade bird feeders, learn about bird calling, make observations, learn how to draw a blue jay with watercolor, dissect owl pellets, and even go on a virtual field trip to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary! We will take a closer look into nature and be inspired to pause more often and admire the world around us!
All registrations must be submitted by May 14, 2021. Your complete science kit will be mailed to your home address prior to class.
