OHIO BIRD SANCTUARY FIELD TRIP

Spring is here and new life begins! Let's make family hikes more meaningful by visiting the Ohio Bird Sanctuary to learn about native birds and their callings. Students will become mini ornithologists and learn how to identify birds. The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is a living museum and is a home for injured birds. The founder, Gail, will give us a behind the scenes tour of how birds are rehabilitated and sent back to the wild. We will get an up close and see a bald eagle, falcons, red tail hawks, great horned owl, and even vultures (the founder's favorite).

This field trip will inspire students to pay closer attention to nature and our ecosystem. The virtual field trip is engaging  and interactive!
