Ignite your child's imagination and wonder through the Jack and the Beanstalk thematic unit. Oh, yes... we can still accomplish STEAM based learning with this storybook folktale! We will grow a bean plant, document our observations, design & create a parachute egg challenge, learn about story telling, and even make a shadow puppet theater. A special guest will be joining us to read and retell Jack & the Beanstalk. We will explore the elements and characteristics of a great storyteller. Then, we will use our imagination retell this folktale.

All registrations must be submitted by June 12, 2021. Your complete science kit will be mailed to your home address prior to class.

This class will be taught live online via Zoom. Registered students will receive login instructions. Some simple preparation or setting out the materials is required prior to each class. Estimated 10 minutes is needed.
