Outer Space - Afternoon Session

Service Description

3,2,1... Blast Off into an out of this world exploration of our Solar System. Students will learn about the sun, moon, and the stars and how our Earth is connected to the universe. In this 5 series programming, students will solidify their understanding of the characteristics of each planet and discuss why it is important for astronauts to explore other planets, like Mars. We will learn about gravitational pull, constellations, the solar eclipse, orbit, and the phases of the moon through hands on projects and experiments. Growing Learners will also take students on a virtual field trip to the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center to see their planetarium.
